I'm back to complete engine removal and case splitting to find a for sure cure for my 04 XB12R shifting problems. It is going from 2nd to 3rd when it Jams and cant move shift lever to do any good. Large burr formed on shift cam which kept shift fork stuck on burr because of shift cam is made of solid aluminum. Only 03 through 05 XB12 have aluminum 06 and later everything was changed in transmission. I will let it be known what I come up with for the final fix this time. It wouldn't be so bad had Erick Buell made a access door for the trans like on Sportsters.
