    High milage 1125s?

On the first bike? Oh, I'm on my 3rd motor, about that many sets of wheels, 3rd belt, 3rd display cluster, 2nd ecu, 2nd set of forks, 2nd shock (penske now), who knows how many clip ons, front fairing stays, etc, I crash out of, on my 2nd MCs for both brake and clutch, moved to brembo, probably...

    High milage 1125s?

I've owned 4 of these bikes. Still own the first one, it's got 45k+ on the clock, but pretty much only the chassis is original at this point. I had over 10k on another '08 I sold a couple of years ago. I had 8k or so on an '09 I sold last year. I just bought an 09 CR with 24k on it. I...

Need Parts Cuz im a moron

It's for both headlights. The reason paint thinner and acetone messed everything up is they both melt polycarbonate plastics. Denatured alcohol is the strongest solvent you can really safely use on those plastic bits.

    Wierd idle issue????

The R1 front end is a nice "upgrade" to the stock 1125r system. More wheel, brake, rotor, brake pad, and suspension options with that front end...

    Wierd idle issue????

That and you will be riding around on an idle program fuel map. I have no idea if that's an issue or not. If you ever want to trade out that chain kit for a belt drive, let me know ;) I could probably even toss in an extra set of wheels.

    Wierd idle issue????

That's your answer. Your bike NEVER thinks the clutch is pulled in, so it's always in a mode of minimizing the engine braking, a standard function of the race ecm, and less so in the oem ecm. IAC = idle air controller your bike is functioning normally and correctly, especially for a track...

    Wierd idle issue????

It's the IAC probably, and while the higher RPMs are normal when the clutch is let out, usually if the clutch is pulled in fully it will return to a normal idle program. Check your clutch switch... The race ECM does have a more generous IAC program than stock, so it should rev as much on a...

What brake pads are you running?

The EBC HH are fine for street, but they will fade given hard track use. The Extreme Pro work OK for most track riders, but will throw a lot of dust. I liked them for a long time, but as I got better and more consistent on the brakes, I found I could only run them to about half-wear before...

Surging front brake. where to start?

Pull the hardware an inspect it. If the "square" drive bushings are showing uneven wear or the rotor's bearing edges are worn, replace both. The drive bushings wear ahead of the rotors, and if they are anything but perfectly tight need to be replaced. The OEM setup on these bikes promotes the...

Surging front brake. where to start?

    > if it don't, EBR hardware is the next step Unlikely. If the issue is lack of hard use and pad deposits, this won't help. And, it might make it worse, since the EBR hardware is very particular to the wheel being especially true -- much more so than the spec in the service manual.

    1125cr Problems (help!)

These things aren't easy to take apart, and you will probably break something trying... I did. You can just ignore it, or you can buy a new cluster.

    Need a spec

On the XBs they are. On the 1125, most of the fasteners are metric. Only a handful of the fasteners -- passenger pegs, front caliper, and a few others -- are SAE. Using 1/4 and 3/8ths drive for the front and rear axle bolts will either not fit, or promote wear of the tool or fasteners. The...
