    Gator Buell i also use mobil 1 V-twin in my new buell but don't you think your transmission going out in your jeep could have just been a defect,ect. or just one of those things? Its hard to go wrong with today's oils they came so far in the last 10+ years. I've put 100,000 miles between 3 bikes...

    Does'nt longer rods give you a longer stroke?

    A simple way to answer is a xb9 and xb12 both have 3&1/2 dia. pistons, the xb12 gets its larger displacement from longer rods. You could say its a factory stroker.

    Chain or Belt?

    After riding bikes since the 70's i'll say belts HANDS DOWN! No oiling every 500 miles, no oil flying all over your wheel, ect., no adjusting a chain 500+ miles, no worn out chain every 12-18,000 miles ect! Unless your drag racing a bike with way over 120 horsepower you don't need one!

    OIl filter?

    "You only get what you pay for" Well that's true a lot of times but the wal-mart super tech ST4967 are well made oil filters. In fact their made better than some filters that cost 3 times as much. I've been using them on different bikes for over a 100,000 miles. BTW i'am not promoting wal-mart...
