    headers turning blue

    are anyone elses headers turning blue after awhile?? ive my 12 for about three months and 2500 miles and i dont remember them being blue when i bought (used). i would think with fuel injection the mixture would be right and the pipes wouldnt change color.

    oh i would definetly call it a pinging noise, to me it does not sound mechanical in nature.

    on the airbox delete kit from asb what is the t and hose for??? i dont remember seeing a hose like on the stock airbox. if i have a race ecm would i need a reset of any kind??

    Where would the ECM chip be located?? I want to verify that my o4 xb12r indeed has a race chip like the guy I bought it from said it did. I have removed various pieces doing different things and cant see anything that looks like it. Thanks for the help.
