    As far as I know the mounting brackets are the same but the xb9's don't have a valve inside like the xb12's. I'm not sure if there are any other differences, I'll let you know if it's do-able - Thanks

    no check engine light, but the light did come on a couple of weeks ago so I took it in to be checked. There was nothing wrong, no error reading from the diagnostics test. do you think it could be related? The light came on and went off after 20 seconds twice on a 30 mile ride
