    Interesting. I don't see how it would work at all with the "S" rear fender and all. Also, it looks to me like the bolt placement is wider than the factory hardware mount points.

    If I were in your shoes I would 1. Sell the bike and buy a 12scg or 2. Pull your engine/harness/ecm and sell it and buy a 12 motor/harness/ecm and install. There's a world of difference going from the 9 to a 12. [up]

    The lack of power and rpm of the XB9 motor will make wheelies a challenge at speed. The current pulley variations are minimally different. If you really want to kill your mph and mpg you can do a chain conversion with a stunt rear sprocket the size of your rear wheel and wheelie in any gear...

    Yep, not a harley production bike at all. IT's a privately built bike and yes most of the parts are buell aside from the frame.

    Hey at least one of us(members) got it. I was determined to get this one as I was about to place an order for a brand new one. Saving ~50% was a no brainer even if it'll take a few man hours to polish her up.

    I got the showymoto cover off ebay [up] Definitely more than I wanted to pay but luckily I do glass/body/paint work myself and will have it good as new for next to nothing.

    buell mileage

    Yeah it doesn't really work the same way with bikes. Most people don't drive them everyday like a car and when they do, the resale value drops significantly. Most riders are pleasure riders and don't rack up too many miles. That's why you can find say an 05 xb12s with 8K miles on it...
