    Let's talk Traxxas

    i had a few friends that ran the E-maxx and were very happy with them. same chassis as the T-maxx just electric. there is just something about the sound, power and smell of burning nitro that i loved about it. on the plus side of electric, you don't have to worry about engine break in and tuning.

    X1 Did not like its first long ride after sitting for 3 months.

    i'd say seafoam is the place to start. i had the same problem with a diffrent bike i had after it sat for close to a year. i topped it off with premium fuel and a can of seafoam. 3/4 tank later it was running like new again. i'm assuming condensation and bad gas was the culprit with my bike...

    i was heavy into R/C for years and ran alot of different trucks/buggies but only ran nitro..... i know, that's no help. but, i did love my T-maxx. lots of aftermarket parts to the point it's almost endless. and i was very happy with traxxas service department when i had warranty issues or questions.
