    Surging front brake. where to start?

    I fixed mine, I doused the contact points/springs with wd/40 and let it sit. I also took fine sand paper and sanded on the disk. So far no more surging for me. Make sure your careful at first when you go riding, YOU WILL NOT HAVE A FRONT BRAKE UNTIL THE WD/40 WARES OFF!!!! Dont go ripping down...

    Thanks for the write up. I will say that the 04 xb12r firebolt wiring is slightly different. It took some trial and error and a lot of patience and I achieved the wiring mod.

    Check your grounds. My xb12 was doing this and the ground to the frame had a rusty star washer between the ground cable and frame.
