EBR Front Wheel Swap to XB

In order to setup the spacer on the rotor side, I laid a ruler across the hub and measured from the ruler to the rotor on the old rim. That measurement came to 17mm. I installed the rotor on the new rim and did the same measurement which came to 15.72mm So that tells me the spacer needs come...

EBR Front Wheel Swap to XB

I grabbed the caliper and took some measurements before I go modifying it. Here's the thinner adapter.

EBR Front Wheel Swap to XB

It's worth noting the XB's rear wheel bearing has a 30mm inner diameter while the S1, X1 Lightning rear wheel bearings have a 25mm inner diameter. There are currently conversion kits on ebay that allow the XB rear wheel swap to the S1,X1 Lightning. So I purchased a set for 35.00 and will...

EBR Front Wheel Swap to XB

So here's a picture of the new EBR wheel. The bearings on the EBR front wheel have a 30mm inner diameter while the XB bearings are 25mm. So we're definitely going to need some custom spacers.

EBR Front Wheel Swap to XB

As I already posted to my build thread I purchased a new EBR front wheel and planning to install it on my 2010 XB12SCG. This has been done before. But I couldn't really find any specifics on the conversion. So, here I'll chronicle the adventure.

    First of the Last

I spent some time updating the GPS unit maps and added a splash screen for when the unit is starting up. I also reworked the headlight switching. I had 2 weatherproof Chrome Glow switches on either side to control the headlight and marker lights. The problem was I couldn't tell at a glance if...

    First of the Last

When I did the EBR headlight conversion, The stock reservoir hit the headlight. So I installed a GSXR front master cylinder with a remote reservoir setup. This left the brake and clutch levers canted at different angles when you look at the bike from the front. So in December last year I...

    First of the Last

It's been a while since I replied to this thread. At the end of June last year I got around the pegs being to low by ordering some of the M-Factory 40mm adjustable pegs. The pegs I purchased for a Buell XB. The peg mounts tabs are closer to each other on the Ulysses than the R/S rear sets...

I took some advice from a forum member and dropped a set of Ulysses rearsets on. I think it cleans up the rear end really nice. Overall the pegs are dropped 3" from the stock pegs. I'm looking for some standard no drop pegs to add on now.

WTB: Buell XB Standard Rider Pegs

As the title states does anyone have any OEM rider pegs with no drop in them? I'm looking to buy the right and left side.

Buell Ulysses Rearset on S/R Frame

Thanks for finding that. I wish I would've found that post. It would've saved me some wondering if they would fit and how they would look.

Buell Ulysses Rearset on S/R Frame

That’s my concern to. I figure I’ll get them installed and try it out. I might have to buy some adjustable pegs that will allow me to raise them.

Buell Ulysses Rearset on S/R Frame

So here's something I didn't find in a search. If it's been covered before I apologize. I took a suggestion from a forum member and opted to try installing a Ulysses rearset on my SCG. Anyway, the Ulysses rearset rider mounts will drop the pegs by 2". Add another 1" for the Ulysses pegs...

So the 1190RS airbox is about done. I did a test fit. For some reason the 1190RS seems to mate up better. The angle for the front mounts is dead on the same as the XB. The RX/SX airbox covers have a slightly different angle. Its no big deal. It just makes me wonder. I think the...
