    Guess What (level 1)

This is a fun game. It would be interesting if you could tell us how you do some of these shots; eg. lens, lighting, etc., that might be useful to us amateurs. Yeah, just a wild guess, then I went out and looked at some various filters I had in the cabinet (Buell and Fram) and none of them...

Two little things that really help: 1) wear ear plugs 2) relax Both will serve to drastically reduce fatigue.

ASB, why you do you do this?

Maybe because I live one state over, in Arizona, but the most I have ever paid for shipping from ASB is less than $13. Most orders have shipped for less than $10. He has quality parts, great service and ships promptly.

Quite literally, the worst of both worlds...

That thing reminds me of those pictures of a cow that was born with two heads or five legs. [sad]

    Getting passed

If a speedy steed is your primary need, then the Buell may not be for you. But, I'll always take pride, in the machine that I ride 'cause it's made in the Red, White and Blue. :D

    A Tale of Two Tires

My experience with Shiko's was just the opposite. When I bought my S3, it had relatively fresh Shinko 009's on both ends, and I did not like them. I finally replaced them with Dunlop Roadsmart II's and they made a world of difference. The bike rolls into a turn predictably and smoothly, and...

going to buy an XB... 9 or 12?

I have an XB9 and an S3, and to me, there is a big difference in power delivery below 4000 rpm, but in the mountains, the 9 is perfectly happy above 4k, all day long.

    XB12 '03 will not over 4500rpm

That is your exhaust valve actuator. It should be bolted to the inner air box. Do you still have the stock inner air box and stock muffler? If you still have the stock muffler, and that actuator is not bolted down, your exhaust valve is not opening. I wonder if that would prevent it from...

    Which one?

It depends on what you will do with the bike. If you will use it mostly to go out and ride the twisties, the R has higher pegs and lower bars. If it will be your daily transportation, or you like really long rides, the SX will be much more comfortable. The '07 does have a few improvements over...

What did you do for your Buell today?

Finally got around to installing the new rear tire on my S3. The front will have to wait for another day. Dunlop Roadsmart II
