WTB XB9SX Front and Rear splash Guards

First off, what do you mean by "splash guards"? Are you referring to the front fender? (fits all XB's) and the rear hugger? Never seen that guy before, but if you're looking for what I think you are, front and rear fenders are pretty readily available on eBay and other places. If you need to...

    Race Buell Improvement Thread

Where did ya get the sliders? Since CoOter has been CoOter-splaining a lot of track riding education to me, and its starting to stick, I may need them. I still haven't mastered the whole highside/low side thing like he has. :black_eyed::eagerness:

    My 5th motorcycle. 2004 XB9S

I bought the Amazon version of the replacement LED headlight assembly. If you're after the stock look with a more modern light solution, its a pretty good option. The light output and quality is a little better than stock, and a new stock assembly ain't cheap these days. When you changed the...

    I need help

I would start by pulling the primary and inspecting the shift pawl assembly.

    Lower is Better?

Supposedly the Buell shocks are rebuild able (from what I understand). You may want to double check with an outfit such as Race Tech. https://racetech.com/ I think my shock only has about 15K.

    Rear spark plug access mod

Nice work Silver! I may need to do that mod to the (cough, cough) race bike. How did you determine the place to file? Just cram an extension on the spark plug socket and see where it hits the frame? I always keep a 6-8” piece of 3/8 rubber hose to install the rear plug

    http://BuellMods.com manuals have been updated.

There is only one legend on this forum and he goes by the name of lunatic_fringe. You made reach him only through the grace and style of Barrett. No exceptions!

    oil cap

I think there is a guy on the FB Buell forum selling 2 of them. Double check me, but I'm pretty sure its the same cap that the Sportsters of the same era used.

Yet another XB12S fuel pump issue.

Woot woot! Silver is back! This forum just got cool again.

    Side stand

If you're going to mount the bike like that, you may also want to replace the bolts securing the side stand to the case with studs and a lot of locktite. Those bolts are known to loosen over time and I'd hate to see that fail with your 230lbs of might all on the stand assembly.

XB Frame Pucks...Possible Future Supply...I need your old Frame Pucks to do it

Yes, the OP made a run of them and sold them to Twin Motorcycles and others to resell to consumers. I don't think he has been back since,

    Clutch hub

If you are looking to replace the shell with sprocket teeth that are driven by the chain, or the teeth that engage the starter, you need to remove the front and rear sprockets together. You will need to remove them simultaneously. The links to the service manuals are correct, as the service...
