    new tires... your opinions please

The x-siping is actually what gives it better traction in the rain. They use a different tread compound to get longer life anywhere from 10,000-15,000+ miles. Tho with the sipes they can chop under hard breaking and if you don't balance your tires often. Personally I would go with either the...

    "Lizzy" my 09 1125CR

Just installed another set of Michelin Piwer Pures in the stock sizing. Had to improvise on lifting up the front of the bike to take off the front wheel, fork stand/bike jack worked well lol, I need to invest in a triple tree pin stand! All buttoned up and ready for the road ahead, I got 8,300...

    "Lizzy" my 09 1125CR

I unplugged the recall harness and started the bike, checked it about 5 minutes later and was charging at 14.2v. So then i quickly switched the harness around to the recall harness and it dropped down to 12.0v and stabilized, then i quickly unplugged the harness again and it went back up to...

    "Lizzy" my 09 1125CR

Well, i knew it wouldn't last too long. 18,700 miles and got the dreaded system voltage CEL just as i pulled her into the garage. Gonna check into it tomorrow, I'm hoping its the relay as that's relativity cheap and it is acting the same as when the relay went on me in Florida 4,500 miles ago.

    Looking into an 1125 cr

I do like the red! I think I I got an R I would make it red (I would probably pick up an 08 to avoid the charging issue) and paint the frame like an 09-10. That's a little bit in the future tho, I'm more focused on finding a replacement for my explorer now and another bike may come after.

    Looking into an 1125 cr

lol this was an old thread. Id say go for it! I love my CR and if i had the money i would go buy an 08 R as a weekend/ track day bike and use my CR as the daily ride. I have 17,735 on my 09 CR now (as of 5 minutes ago) and can easily see me riding it into the ground. Only concern for you would...
