    I got pulled over tonight.....

    It is my understanding that a cop cant just pull you over to see if you have your license. Just like they cant stop you walking down the street and ask you for ID. If a cop pulled me over just to check to see if i had my license id be filing a complaint with that department.

    Aftermarket XB exhaust that will pass emissions?

    I thought that Cali had certain restrictions on their bikes? My old was a California compliant model so i had a charcoal canister and everything on it. Why the heck would you need that if they dont run emissions tests?

    frame cleaning

    Ive never used anything on my frame except soap and water. Its just paint, and i dont even think its cleared. So i wouldnt use anything on it. I ended up repainting mine because the previous owner tried to wet sand it to a shine and wax it. It looked horrible.

    Like you said 3k isnt going to get you much. I opted for the S tail on my firebolt and it made a big a difference in comfort for myself and the ball and chain.

    I have a the smaller tail bag I would trade you for it. My tail bag is on almost perfect condition with the exception of the zipper needing repaired. Probably wouldn't be bad if you had a sewing machine.
