    Banks hold the title, not the dealer. Unless the dealer does on the spot financing (most do not) it will be coming from a financial institution. I payed the wifes car off and it took almost 2 months to get the title. Banks just arent that quick with stuff like that.

    Jardines are actually riveted together. In the pics that d_adams posted you can clearly see that the rivet wholes are oval from movement. If yours looks like that you will probably have to trim the pipe down a bit, drill new wholes, and re-rivet.

    If this is all while the bike is running then the bike is not charging.

    Battery's are very easy to test. It should start the bike at 11 volts. Once the bike is running put a volt meter on the terminals of the battery to test the charging system. I don't know what bikes run but I would think it should be over 13 volts. If its anywhere near 12 the bike isn't charging...

    Tire Repair Question

    I plugged my tire at the beginning of last riding season and rode it all summer. I work on cars for a living though so I am very confident when it comes to patching/plugging tires. If you know how to plug/patch a tire it will become part of the tire after a few hundred miles.

    Damn thats pretty bad. If you cant afford a new one, that could probably be welded. I would just be sure its done by someone that knows what they are doing due to the crack being so close to where it bolts to the head.

    This is how PA is also. There will just be a stamp on the title saying the mileage is not accurate. I believe a dealer should be able to set the mileage on a new cluster. I know it can be done with cars, so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same with a bike.

    My suggestion is to go to a harbor freight and get yourself a thread chaser for spark plugs. They make one that does 02 sensors also. They are the same thread pitch so either will work.

    I am curious to see what your solution is, mine does the same thing after riding for an extended period of time. And it doesnt always do it.
