    now i wish i would've saved some of the damaged pucks I've had over the years. Hope you can make a copy of the large pucks too, they are a bit more expensive than the small ones and not too many places to get ahold of them

    I do think if a guy modified the front mount so that it fastened at the isolator mount instead of the head bolts that it might work well and not destroy anything in a minor spill. I guess if it sits on the bench long enough I might tinker with that.

    I just looked closer at the pics. That thing has been down on both sides! The left puck is all scuffed up and appears to have a slightly smaller dent in the frame as compared to the other side. Just be honest when ur selling something, nothing wrong with a beat up buell if the price is...

    And if by check the bearings you mean I jacked the bike up spun the wheels and made sure they didn't wiggle back and forth, then yes I checked the bearings. As far as tires go it has a tkc80 on the front and some kind of gnarly Metzeler on the back. Both appear to be fairly new

    I've low sided a lightning at 35 miles an hour and it looked exactly like the side of that bike. That did not happen from falling over.

    We've had floods here in the Missouri river valley the past few years which means riding at night or even near dusk absolutely coats your bike with insects. Remember to give them plenty of time to soak in some quality carwash soap and/or mild bug remover before scrubbing too much to avoid...
