    Check Fuses buell 2008 xb12

Welp, picked up my other new relays. O'Reilly masterpro # r3146 same for borgwarner. Just replaced all four. After a little coaxing the bike fired and idled nicely for nearly a minute. It has been sitting outside for over a year so the battery is essentially junk, the fuel doesn't smell...

    Check Fuses buell 2008 xb12

Hey John, doing good here. Thanks for thinking of me! So far I replaced the blown fuses and checked all. Replaced the key switch relay because there was only one available in town. Have more ordered. It will now prime the pump cycle gauges as usual and crank. Smells like it's getting fuel...

    Check Fuses buell 2008 xb12

Hey fellers... I haven't posted in a while, I know. This definitely isn't the thread I wanted to come back in. Picked up a cheap, basically for parts, but supposedly running lightning today. Unfortunately when I arrived the kid selling it hooked up the battery from his harley to start it for...

    Avoiding Panic Mode

Yep that's accurate That super cruiser does look like hot garbage. And I don't really understand why they think throwing some parts off an 1190rx on a fxr frame is an engineering marvel. I'm sure it's fast but so is a smart car with a busa motor swap.

    Avoiding Panic Mode

Thanks for the info John. I'm a little disappointed we won't be able to purchase them actually. I know they're chinese made but would still be a neat little cheap bike to have and it's fun owning Harleys bastards. Can we also address this bs while rumors are being quelled...

    Another muffler post

I used vht flame proof spray paint on a couple mufflers. I think I used satin or semi gloss. Flat is was too dull in my opinion. Either way that paint layed out nice and held up well.

    Skid Plate = Muffler?

Appreciate the kind words as always John. Yeah, I haven't said anything here for quite some time but I'm always lurking. Still read all you guy's shenanigans. Couldn't resist piping up on this topic for some reason :very_drunk:

    The New Melvins are out!

    Hot garbage

Considering a Buell Ulysses, have some questions.

They revamped the klr650 recently... much safer choice than a Ulysses. It's like comparing a bowl of oatmeal to sushi from a gas station. Depends on how brave you are and how much you want sushi.

    New tires and maintenance

Check brake system over. Maybe flush the brake fluid. I've been doing that on every used bike I buy as a precaution. Check the bearing on your belt idler. I find a thorough cleaning helps you notice problems.

    TPS Sensor P0279.3AA

I guess that may be the case. I read it as John saying it fit the odd 07's. The late 06/07 TB is still an odd ball then? Like I said, when I had my 07 xb12x I spent a good bit of time trying to find an alternative to the one from HD (for $95) with no luck

Only way of purchasing the 07 style in my experience has been through Harley Davidson. I do not know if it is still available from HD

    Merry Christmas

I'd bet you folks have a lot of traffic tie ups that involve everyone politely insisting the other person goes first when a couple cars arrive at nearly the same time at a four way stop.
