    I just put a shorai ion battery in my bike..expencive but awsome. more starting power,last long if the light are left on but the best part is its as light as the box it came in. It doesnt need a trickle charger but I have one installed in all my bikes,cars and pwc anyway. its worth the money for...

    Pick up a voltage/electical tester and start reading voltage at the sockets back to the switch. sometimes it the only way to find a problem.

    The manual is for a 2004. it should be good for all years unless your are tring to match your bike.
