    So I rode today - about 30 minutes - mostly twisties and back roads, but a few straights in order to try out the 100ms setting. Much better all around. I'm going to tweak to 90ms and if it's even a touch better, then leave it. If it's no better, I'll go back to 100ms and leave it. Crazy fun...

    So for the others interested in this quickshifter - once you get it installed, depending on your bike's reaction to the stock kill time, you'll need to use ECMspy or Tunerpro and go the array I just mentioned above. Of note, Cooter let me know that the individual gear options are for the 1125...

    Cooter - not sure the pm 'thing' is working, but I'm trying to figure out where in the overall bin file you set these timings. I found an "array: shifter interrupt duration" with entries for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Is that it. If so, should the timings be constant throughout?

    Yeah - I know that I really shouldn't use it in the lower gears, either, so I'll not be doing that anymore....just wanted to try it out, and I'm not at a track... I do want to tighten the timing...once I get tuner pro and the cable working, I think I'll try 90ms and report back. Cheers...

    Yeah - rode a good deal again today. It's fairly consistently jumpy in lower gears. Third to fourth and fourth to fifth are noticeably smoother. I'm only going to do this near WOT...that seems to be really the time when this applies. Oh, there's certainly a smile.... Yeah - I think I need...

    2005 XB12R aftermarket exhausts

    Hawk exhaust *much less expensive - lunaticfringe is a fan and should be able to give you the rundown on how it performs... Drummer (SS) is a premium exhaust, and my XB12R came with one installed. I love it...but since I haven't ridden a bike with the Hawk can, I can't comment on differences...

    Strongly recommend the "comfort kit" for the XB (right side scoop, rear header heat shield). Spec Ops does a very nice 'under airbox' heat shield that works a treat as well. I did all three, and I don't have much (if any) problem with heat from the rear cylinder at this point.

    Anyone here actually do this for their XB? I'm doing a good deal of reading, and this may be something I would be quite interested in doing.... Standard 2008+ eeprom will have that setting, correct (i.e. to allow the quickshifter function to work)?
