    I put bar end mirrors on my ironhead and was not a fan. That riding position is of course completely different (though i set it up to be similar to the Uly) than the STT. I think this is a YMMV situation. Some of the EBAY mirrors are pretty nice pieces and you won't really find anything...

    The pulley cover really classes up (and even seems to match) the style on the right side of the bike. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting some eye candy.

    That's a harmless prank - and if he has any sense of humor he'll laugh at himself a little too... you didn't damage anything except his pride (which was inflated after a bike purchase). Keep in mind though that we Buell riders are prideful too.

    I'm most excited about AX and I hope it steps up the Uly to a true "adventure" bike. The X and the XT were/are both great bikes. But they are more soft-roaders (especially the XT) than adventurers.

    It really could have been so buggered that there was no hope. I find it hard to believe since it was being ridden that way - the worst crossthreaded plugs I've seen were repairable but always caused a noise/popped plug. It seems to not have been causing a noise which is *amazing* to me...

    Is this a reputable dealer? History on bike? I would be amazed if your bike had been running for any length of time with a stripped (even cross-threaded... that would take talent to get a plug all the way down) plug.
