As promised here are pictures of the seat pad on the bike. Monday I'll be taking the bags off for a cleaning and I'll snap some more pics.

Yes, they do pass those standards, however those are the minimum standards that need to met.

    Dual visor helmets

Beware of the duel visors, having a cavity in the helmet for the second visor adversely affects its safety. Essentially why Arai helmets will never have one. Plus the mechanisms for it are heavy and in my experience they fog rather easily. The bell transitions is ok, but it is really slow. I...

    walmart seat pad

Took a trip this weekend with a buddy down though the mountains of Virginia. However, I wanted some additional comfort on the stock seat. I previously owned a Suzuki m50 and in the forum I belonged to it was mentioned that some people used this pad to get some added comfort. Used it with my...

    Buell Arc reactor build

Monday (hopefully) will be the big day when it is all together. Just finished a 1400mi weekend trip on the buell. Plan on doing oil change, cleaning up the previous owners breather reroute, and installing the arc, maybe even wash the bike.

I plan on running the wires through the hole at the bottom of the timing cover area. From there, I should be able to hide decently while I direct the wires to a source.

Also as requested here is a picture of the back and the wiring that I did. The copper wire I just twisted together and it seems to hold up fine.

    Buell Arc reactor build

I've had some messages about selling the buell reactor cores, however, I do not have the time on my hands to make them myself. What I can do is make a kit that will come with most of the pieces. The Kit would include the the outer ring (with or without the alignment marks), the inner ring...

I cut all the pieces out of acrylic on a laser cutter. The outer ring and innermost circle was 1/4" acrylic. The middle ring was much thinner (not sure of the thickness at the moment, maybe 1/16")

Frozone; I will have a cover for the reactor and it looks like I may need to do some modification to get the extra clearance I need in the hole. Nothing big, a washer or 2 might work. I hope I can hide the wires decently.

    Buell Arc reactor build

OK so I just did it...a little motivation goes a long way. (Thanks for asking about the status) Went with my gut and used the blue LEDs. All that is left is to mount it in the bike. Hopefully sometime next week.

    Buell Arc reactor build

Its coming along, progress has been slow. I've been on vacation and then things have been busy at work. I have the LEDs and are deciding how to mount them and to pick the color. The LEDs can mount under the ring and point up, or on the side of the ring and point in. I have cool white and...
