    Will not go over 85mph or 5000rpms in gear.

    I just picked up a 99 X1 With the same problem. Mine did run rough in the lower RPM's also. Turned out the O2 Sensor was bad and not coming out of cold start enrichment. If you have ECMSpy and a cable, hook it up when the bike is completely cold. Under the Engine tab, Watch the Cold start...

    Threads in swing arm are stripped! Plastics are not that great! Frame is cracked! Wheels are bent! Seats are crap! Rear Cylinder head is cracked! So making sure people get quality parts and are safe to put on a road machine, Not really a fail!
