    Need fuel for a debate

Breath Guy, don't take things personal and just work with the people trying to still help. LunaticFringe is IMO one of the if not the "Guru" of this site, so if there is only one person to listen to it should be him. if you have done some research you can see many of these members put in...

    Need fuel for a debate

Sounds like you are overlooking your issue and if all your motor mounts are tight, suspension dialed in and up to par, tires balanced, rims true, new neck bearings, wheel bearings and it was still not fixed when you brought it to a shop that knows nothing about Buells ( bad idea IMHO ) what...

    Theft attempt XB12Ss

First off, sorry about those scum of the earth losers but if I could make a recommendation, look into TRACKIMO.com comes with a year subscription and you can drop and charge under the seat. I do not have any affiliation with them but it’s affordable, reliable, app friendly and you will get a...

99 X1 Open Loop, Closed Loop

Open loop is when your bike is running off the fuel and timing maps only. Closed loop is when the bike rely's on data input signals from your sensors in lieu of the fuel and timing maps. Not sure about 99 but when your bike is hooked up to ECMSpy you can actually see the bike transitioning to...

extreme bog down 99 X1 Lightning.

Hopefully the injectors were just clogged but my first fuel pump did what yours is doing then eventually failed all together. Not sure about the 99 years but my 05 xb12r blows the heat out of the back of the engine right under your right thigh, which is normal. I think most people are under the...

Second Fuel Pump within 7K miles & 2nd Season ?

Replaced the fuel pump, took a ten mile ride including the highway and so far all is well, she is running and starting great. I bought the Fuel Pump from O'reileys, Precision fuel pumps P/N E16271. This is for a 85-86 mustang and it was cross referenced from the Airtex pumps E2061. I couldn't...

I hear the Siren song calling me telling me to get a buell

What a great inspirational thread 👍🏻 Being 41 I sometimes find myself asking if I’m too old to be riding a 05 XB12r but then I come to my senses. It’s awesome to hear you guys still riding sport in your 60’s & 70’s, cheers 🍻 As far as a comparison there is nothing else like a Buell IMHO, it is a...

Fuel in engine oil '03 Xb9r

I have a set of good injectors with 18k on them from my 05xb12r, seals or O rings seem to be ok but it's never a bad idea to have fresh ones. If you find that your injectors are the problem and need a set just lmk and i'll send them to you if you don't want to purchase new ones

    Long overdue Thank you

Hey guys I've been a proud, patient owner of my 05 xb12r now for 10 months and since the second day of ownership I have been swinging a wrench at her. Now, I'm a 40yo seasoned rider with about 22 years riding experience and working on bikes, little did I know this was going to be my biggest...
