    my bike is an 05 xb12scg with 19k miles on it and its mint. it rides just as good as it did when it had 3k miles on it. Thats a good deal, but as always bring cash and see if you can get him down to like 3800. I payed 4800 for mine back in 09, and it only had 2500 miles on it.

    no I'm not any gto forum. Mine is pretty much new. it has 30k miles on it, an 05. mostly stock. I haven't had any issues so I haven't really explored the forums too much.

    I have an 05 with the 3.7 gallon tank and I average around 130 miles to a tank before the light comes on. so about 150 miles. maybe 170 if its all highway.

    Looking for blunt, no BS feedback

    Well I think for me, I have ordered from buellparts, but not as much as I order at asb. I think the reasoning for this is not about the price, but just because I have talked with Al multiple times and its just on a more personal level. Theres no real reason not to shop with them however.

    Xb12Ss Crash Cage Advice

    At road speeds your bike is most likely going to slide, sliders will do their job. My bike went down at 50 mph in a construction zone and my sliders took majority of the damage. a bent handlebar, and busted mirror were the only other parts damaged. Case sliders, axle sliders, and frame pucks...

    4200 seems more fair to me. I think that is what it is worth, not too much to ask for but not a steal either. You get what you pay for and cosmetics can be fixed on these bikes pretty easily. as long as its not leaking a severe amount of oil I think its a good buy imo

    05 xb12scg bought it in 09 for 4700. had 2800 miles on it. I have loved it every day since and it has never let me down, 17k miles later, 1 wreck, and still no issues.

    you can buy just about any hard bags you want, you just gotta make it work. for starters, look at a ventura luggage rack. them make them for the buells and it allows you to get much more luggage, different sizes and with a better fit.
