    XB9S died during drive at a stop sign, now it won´t start again

    I had similar experience. Bought axb12r that appeared to have sat since 2016. After rebuilding fuel pump, and getting it running, the cam sensor was causing the issues like you describe. After pulling the cover for cam, I could see melted goo around the sensor, Liston to advice from guys above...

    2003 XB9R in great shape 6k miles sitting for 5-6 yers

    I just bought one that was sitting, same symptoms, pump was toast, filter just about gone, and low level sensor, and some wires were rotted. The guys above are correct with good info
