    You don't even have to have a windscreen so having one of any color means nothing and if the colored screen is an option there is no way in any state you can get a ticket for it since it had to have been approved by the DOT before production. Go to court and let the cop learn a lesson.

    You will need some type of shock extension otherwise your bike will sit so low in the back the fuel lines will rub from the fuel pump to the swing arm, otherwise your set since your oil lines don' t need any additional work. My old bike had this extension but some others have different...

    You don't need to replace it. Swapped mine on my old bike and did not swap the MC still braked just fine. Worst case you can do the hidden caliper and after the fact if you feel the need you can swap the MC then.

    You will find a large amount of members on the site that live in high heat states. Some relatively simple things can be done to help with heat (wrapped header, heat barrier under seat,...) As for what to look for any noticeable leaks from seals on the engine/trans., forks, or tank. Normal wear...

    weird electrical problems

    Had the same issue a few years back. It ended up being the ground off the battery to the frame. Also loose terminal will do the same thing. Do a full check of ground wires, fuses, and make sure the battery is holding a charge.
