Is cooter a beer thief or a beer disposal? I gave up drinking a few years ago and have some still in the fridge. He's more than welcome to it...

I really do appreciate all the feed back. As I said I do understand suspension setup as far as comp/rebound dampening, preload but street missles are new to me. As far as recording...I have a bit of a habit. I record almost everything.. thankfully the po and ppo kept good documentation on the...

    Pandoras box..or throttle.

Well I guess I'll come clean. I know very little about road / sport bikes and suspension setup. I know dirt bikes, and road racing setups extensively better than bikes. I have less than 1k mi road experience. I understand the theory and will admit that street + 2 wheels IS NOT my expertise by a...

    XBS motion pro REV2 Throttle

So I was able to install everything this morning. Have maybe 2 extra inches of cable. I'm still not happy with the routing that will tuck under the dash. But until I put the dash back together I am content. Everything moves free and smooth even if I hold the cables down where the dash will be...

    XBS motion pro REV2 Throttle

So my Motion Pro REV2 throttle came in today. I took some measurements and was pretty damn satisfied with my shot in the dark. Without any confirmation I was guessing the XBS pull cable was around 35" in length. I did not have one to measure as I had some tom foolery of a previous owner repair...

Well said. I was saying the oil wt to comp for rider weight, not knowing the entire situation I now feel stupid. I'll go look for my 10mm now.

    Pandoras box..or throttle.

Just my 2 cents here- but you "shouldn't" need heavier wt to compensate for a heavier rider, that should just be a spring / springs change. Going to a heavier wt oil will also create more heat, but also be more consistent at higher Temps, and could adversely effect the rebound / compression...

    Pandoras box..or throttle.

Now I'm semi fluent in fluids. What would concern me is a difference is viscosity would actually allow for 2 different flow rates given the same force / orifice size. Now even if the fluids are different say a synthetic vs Dino as long as they are similar in viscosity they should behave similar...

COOTER! Why didn't you warn me not to ask! I almost feel bad for your garage 34. You should start a YouTube series 'BUELLPOCOLYPSE" 34 with the hacks and tricks! Thanks again!
