    Just realized the oil came out of the case breather (somewhere behind the base of the rear cylinder). There's also some oil around there, similar to a leaking rocker cover, except the rocker itself is fine since the gasket were changed recently. I had the oil pressure light come on again today...

    No breather reroute but I was going do one. I'll try to check the PCV valve and pinched line at the same time, but it's so tight in there!

    Couldn't tell, but it was maybe 1/4 cup of oil, all over the right seat rail, and swingarm. Anything I should tear down and check just in case?

    2008 xb12s with high flow filter, race ECM and race exhaust, around 16K miles. I recently did an oil change like usual, nothing wrong in the process, new filter and exact quantities of oil used (amsoil 20w50). Fast forward to 100 miles later (this morning), I start the bike, oil light turns...

    hard starting when hot?

    I have the same thing but couldn't find the source. Usually happens when the bike is hot, mostly when stopping for gas. [confused] I found a trick though, I push the start button for 1/2sec, wait 2-3sec, then start her up... then for some weird reason, I don't get the metal clunk sound.

    Thread revival! I'm wondering if this has been fixed, I get the same banging noise once in a while, but only when the bike is hot (most of the time when I stop for gas). I don't think it's an electrical problem, but that noise scares the crap out of me every time, it sounds like the engine is...

    My cracked fairing is now in two pieces and I'm looking for a cheap replacement. Tried a few tricks to glue it back together but the vibrations make it hard to hold for long. I only need the left hand side (smallest of 3 parts, usually held with rivets), was quoted 140$ + tax and 8 weeks delay...

    2008 XB12S, Jardine exhaust, K&N high flow air filter, EBR Race ECM. Tried searching but nothing concrete turned up... Long story short, I had a rocker cover leak recently, oil killed the fan so I took her to the stealership. Since it's been fixed, I get some pops in the airbox from stop signs...
