    Hi all. Am installing my factory race muffler. Should I remove the cable only, or disconnect and remove the controller also? Thank you all for any advice you may give me.

    bden and chrome, Thank you for your responses. I'm sorry that I can't post photos. The muffler I have is the factory race kit one. The two outlets are slash-cut and look to be at an angle greater than 45 degrees. Again, thank you for your help.
