    I wish I knew. We threw a new swing arm on, put the right amount of oil in and started it up. No more noise. Very odd.

    Swingarm is gonezo. Prior owner stripped the plug. Tried to term sert it which actually made matters worse (my fault) and then I tried to drill and tap it to 5/8" last night.     I am wondering if I blew out a spark plug from too much oil/pressure. Maybe it riding and sounding like shit is because of that? But would that cause the engine to run hot and have the fan go crazy?

    See I put 2.5+ maybe closer to 2.8 quarts in the swingarm plus probably 5 ounces in the filter. I did not realize the filter counts towards the rest. Plus I think I am closer to 1.25 in the primary.

    I wish I could. As you know J she is now not in running shape. We have to replace the swingarm to get her up and running. I figure we will just do a fluid flush and figure it out from there. I hope Buellsterparts ships out today or tomorrow so we can try for the weekend.

    Yep, first ride after adding oil. At first it was riding perfectly. But then after it warmed up it went crazy. I know there is too much oil in both holes. I am thinking once it got hot it expanded and started the trouble? If that is the case, did I do permanent damage?
