Fitting an EBR Air Box Cover to a Buell XB

Cooter, Not to worry, not only does Beckies have pie of all kinds, but the full range of steaks. Plus there is a BBQ across the street. Might have to spend a day or two and put on some calories. Opto

Fitting an EBR Air Box Cover to a Buell XB

BTW Cooter, if you are still in the vicinity of Boone's ferry today there are some awesome steak places handy. Oh yeah with good beer selections and cute waitresses too. Opto

Fitting an EBR Air Box Cover to a Buell XB

Well I am going to take the vantage point of peace, love and understanding. Not always easy. But Jeez, this is getting out of hand. Lunatic, I cautioned you about your blood pressure. I get it with your distaste of TP--you guys are polar opposites. Not always a bad thing as I maintain...

    Technicians vs. Mechanics

Lunatic, I thought you had a few mellow days up in the mountains? Here you are falling for it again. Stay Calm and watch that blood pressure. Opto

    New Battery: fan keeps running

Jeez, This is all going off the deep end in a big hurry. Time for all participants to back off several notches and take a deep breath. Come on, this is a help and share forum, not a big D**K waving place. Light tales and stories are all good, but this thread is just plain vicious. Opto

    XR1200 - my next bike?

You tell him, Lunatic -- who knows maybe it is a big break though and he has dyno tests to prove it

    Tires: what would you do?

That is good to know, Silver--When the Metzelers burn off I would enjoy getting another set of the Angels. They were far the best of all the multitude of tires I have gone through--particularly on the RX1190. Yes, mostly in sport touring mode. Is the country of origin molded into the tire...

    Tires: what would you do?

All, Happy to see Lunatic has joined the silliness. Love the scooter etc. post. I think, though, that the Shenko are Japanese, so they might be OK. I had the best luck ever with a pair of Angel GT's on the RX but when it was time to replace them I learned that they were now being made in...

Help! -- Funnel tip fell inside rear swing arm reservoir..

Sorry everybody to flog this but I confess curiosity--did the guy ever get his piece of rubber out of the swingarm or not? Opto

Help! -- Funnel tip fell inside rear swing arm reservoir..

Lunatic, Sometimes it is OK to just lighten up and be a bit silly. Even Tnag has pulled in his horns somewhat and actually paid you a compliment. Somewhat sideways, but a step in the right direction. We will all get serious again tomorrow I am sure and as Cooter says --beers all around...

Help! -- Funnel tip fell inside rear swing arm reservoir..

Well, looks to be only two choices left. 1. Hang the bike upside down and shake vigorously or 2. get out the shop vac, rig up a flexible end and grope around in the swing arm until it "sucks' it What a drama! Best Luck, Opto

    Thinking about getting an XB12s...

DSA, I am towing a flatdeck trailer behind my PU. Going right through Spokane and then to Truckee. Could handle the XB easily. Sometime soon. Thoughts?

    Thinking about getting an XB12s...

Listen to Cooter, Listen to Lunatic, ignore TShag Notice his little jibes--as in my inputs are insignificant -- yet he posts the most insignificant nonsense of anyone on this forum

    Thinking about getting an XB12s...

You all notice how Tbrag warps reality? That cut on Lunatic is way out of line, IMO. Pretty decent luck with my Uly. New Starter and battery at 15,000. Actually of all the bikes I have tooled around on, the Uly yields the highest per day mileage of all of them. I can burn off 500 miles...

rear caliper 4 pot upgrade. pics :-)

one really important function of a back brake, to me, is going downhill on a dirt trail. The bike washes out really easily with the front brake but the rear brake keeps everything tidy. Talking about my Uly here

    Harley's sales drop. Imagine that!

Yes and kumbaya was definitely present on the side of the road up in Challis last year.

Bike Hit in Parking Lot; Question

Yeah we all are infected to some extent. In your case, at least, you never lose your sense of humor and good sense, so your virus's are benign

    Harley's sales drop. Imagine that!

Bozo, I guess the whole thing boils down to time management. If one can break free of the 9-5, Mon-Fri --that is when the cafes are empty, the PoPo's are taking the day off, and the roads are pretty empty. I always try to ride during the week. So yeah young crowd on the weekend is pretty...
