    Buell is probably trying to avoid a show down with the EPA, don't forget the bikes pass a sniff test using the stock ecm and once you replace them it changes the emmissions standard for that particular motor. Believe me, EPA could care less about emmissions, Jesse James sold roughly 20 bikes...

    You have to understand that Harley dealers make their money selling accesories(junk) and since Buell have a limited accesories selection and Buell owners are more resourceful they don't profit that much so they push were the money is at.     2009 1125CR!!!

    I'll trade my Lighting 12S, but I don't like those air scoops, they look like elephant ears, however it's an amazing machine and I know those scoops are functional to aid scavanging fresh air to the oil coolers.

    Was thinking about buying these...

    Just replace them with a set(2) Sylvania Silver Star, you can purchase them at any local auto supplier (Pep Boys, DIscountauto, Autozone, etc.) and if you don't mind waiting try fleabay probably 50% than local stores. I've them in my bike for about 6 months and I'm really happy with them.

    Could someone put a tape measurement next to it and take some pictures please or even better, just make a diagram. I've a Yoshimura pipe(homemade) from a Hayabusa and would like to fab the brackets for the lower chin and don't want to pay $160 for a little piece of steel with some tapped holes...

    Xopti ECM tune

    He did mine(twice), the first time worked great but I went to a Yoshimura muffler and there is not a map for it since is custom made, Mike(XOPTI) designed a map for me and after downloading feels like a different bike, so from my experience highly recommend, in a nutshell the guy knows Buell...
