    Oil leaking out behind cam position sensor...?

    You can see the wetness of the oil on the electronic leads coming out of the base of the Gearcase cover...after further inspection of the leak, and my Service manual, I believe the leak is coming from the front intake cam gear seal...additionally, I think all I have to do is pull the gearcase...

    I take it that you don't have ECMspy available to you? If not, the best way you are going to have available to reset your TPS is go to the dealer...or I can try and send you the program and tuning guide via email.. you will, however, need the associated cable to access your ECM...     questions on ecm

    Klauber88: Let me make sure I understand what you are saying...the previous owner did or did not remap the ecm? I would say doing a tps reset might be a good idea then adjust the idle to 1000ish and see if that helps. R/s, Jon

    I do like Mobil 1 but I can never find it in 20-50w...I know that sounds weak but it doesn't exist here in Eastern NC...Mobil 1 has proper formula for use in gear cases? Didn't know that... Thanks again! Jon

    klauder88: I would suppose that would depend on your particular situation. How is your bike set up? Does it have stock airbox and muffler or are either one aftermarket/race? A Race ECM or re-mapped ECM can help with overall performance but it is not a cure all...you're bike could be...
