    HELP! battery issue?

I had a peek-a-boo battery light and repeatedly dead battery last year...turned out to be a loose main ground. Three weeks at Adamec HD in Jacksonville Fl, a new battery, and a new ecm later, they found the loose ground. You might want to check it even if battery has bad cell. You know...an...

    Recalls

There was a safety recall on my 08...Fuell vent tube. Be careful about fill ups afterward, though. Mine will puke fuell from it for about 30 miles or until fuell falls below inner filler neck (about a quart) HD says this is normal and nothing is wrong with it. Try telling that to friends behind...

    Titanium muffler

Durability will not be an issue...Titanium is light & has super superior resistance to corrosion...the real question is DB level and HP/Torque increase...when is the Dyno run scheduled?

Fully Synthetic oil :Can it be used on a 1125?"

I've been running Motul in mine since the second oil change, just under 11k now and no issues to report. It is a little spendy, though. I look at it as insurance!

    Stock pipe mod?

When I wanted it to be a touch louder, I got a D&D...wasn't for me, so I went on to make my own exhaust. Loud, but no where near as loud as the D&D. Thats what I'm running now. You can find a recording of it on YouTube under "Buell 1125R Tankenstien Exhaust" Pics below:

    Stock pipe mod?

I took my factory pipe off and removed the end cap. I removed the last baffle in the muffler. When I welded it back together, I fashioned an outlet out of SS with a 2 1/2" hole in it making it a side outlet. It sounds way better (to me), but that is very subjective. It made a very obvious...

    Suspension Tuning

RaceTech offers springs for the rear...but DO NOT buy their springs for the forks!!! They turn the forks into solid struts and their "technical staff" doesn't know $h!t about how to fix. EBR & Ohlins offer drop in cartridges...start at $1400.00 w/o any seals, oil, or labor... so be...

    Check engine light?

Miami is right about not needing to jump wires...hold both the MODE & TOGGLE buttons in and cycle the key to the run position. It goes into self diagnosis mode and shows all codes as well as some other diag items. You can even get the electronic DTC codes from other members of the forum.

    Fork respring problem

I took my 1125R to the local bike shop to have the specially designed and built Showa's for the 1125R/CR resprung to the correct spring strength for my bodyweight, and when they got them reassembled there is a very notchy spot about 2 inches fron completely unloaded. I wouldn't worry about it...

    full fairing kits

Redliner... it took twenty minutes to install the kit after the holes were ready and most of that was fighting the Dzues fasteners in the tight area around the pipes! All of the dimples were exactly right on mine and the hardest part was trying not to scratch the bellypan installing it by...

    Buell article in cycle world

Adamec HD/Buell has had mine twice for a minimum of two weeks each time, burned a full tank both times and have not fixed anything. Warranty ran out and the problem still exists...will they keep their word and continue to chase issue under warranty or will I get a huge bill at the end and still...

    Tank Bag

You can still find a few Buell tank bags online...they have snap clips that bolt in to the air filter cover. Thats what I have, and its almost 3 tears old now, but the zipper is starting to tear from repeated opening and closing, so be aware of that if you buy one off e-Bay.

    Why you bought your buell?????

I had a 06 XB12R and wanted water cooling and the six speed sealed the deal...although all things said and done, I would reverse the deal in a New York Minute! The XB12R was a superior handling bike and soooo much torque! plus I only owed 4500 on it when I traded as soon as the first 1125R was...
