    Where to not store your bike for the winter

    I store mine on paddock stands as not to damage the tyres on the cold floor! Rock floor shouldnt have corroded it though surely, maybe your buddy was riding it when you wasn't around :)

    Backfire?

    Decel popping is normal. Mine felt rough too when i first got it, i fitted a K&N and performed the breather mod and it got better, then done a TPS reset and the bike is revving nicely now.

    Yes I'm well pleased with it, just want this winter to be over now so I can get back to riding it, certainly won't fuck up back preassure(hopefully) if anything with such a small modification made it'll make the pipe less restrictive.

    Not my pictures btw, but i basicly done the same thing,i used a 32mm holesaw and cut a single hole into the the inside of the exit pipe(essentially bypassing some of the baffling chambers and pipes), requires no welding and you don't even have to remove the pipe from the bike, take about 15mins.
