    Some new goodies installed!!!!

    Looks good. I have the Jardine fairing brackets. The end that bolts to the belt tensioner, I painted flat silver to match the tensioner braket. It cleans up the look.

    washing your bike

    Be very CAREFUL(!)when using Armour-All on any bike tire. Even if you don't think you got any on the treads, centrifical force can spread it to the tread. Wipe all excess off! Don't ask me how I know!

    I have 6000 miles on my Jardine. Since I read so many times that the packing in the RT-1's sucks I took mine apart with about 1000 miles on it. Everyone was right the packing sucked. I drilled all of the rivets out, both ends. The end cap at the tip would not come out even with the rivets...

    What did you do for your Buell today?

    Cleaned the little air filter I installed during the breather reroute, polished my RT-1, made a new gasket for the small two screw inspection cover on the left side, took a ride and then had a beer in the garage listening to the 09 'bolt cool down. Life can be good!

    Sewer industry, name sez it all. We run tv camera's thru sewer pipes and fix them from inside. Just left my company after 29 years, boss became a crook. Start with a new firm next month. This past month off has been great with lots of time on my 12R.
