    Unconfortable Seat

I have a corbin seat. I love the seat itself and it is great, but Corbin service staff sucks so badly, that I would not recommend their stuff to anyone. I had a fitment problem with mine and they never did make any attempt to correct the prob. Not good for a 270.00 custom seat.

    Sliders for sale or trade

I have decided I don't want the brushed sliders anymore and I think the black ones would look better. I bought them off a member who makes them on this board. I thought they were 50dro sliders but they don't look like the ones on his site. Anyway If someone has a black set with the slotted...

Cant find screws for chin fairing.... help?

My dealership got me some new ones. I tried to find some at a Hardware store with no luck. The screws are kinda weird with a smooth shank. If you could find part # for them then you might be able to get some. Also the two in the front are different from the five on the side.

    Burning oil?

Ok sounds reasonable. I suppose that I don't have anything to worry bout as long as I am back to no consumption with normal riding. I was concerned because a quart a day is a lot.

    Burning oil?

I rode to the Dragon this past weekend and had some heavy oil use. I burned about a quart a day while in the mountains. I normally burn little or no oil. Didn't burn any on 600 mile trip there or just while there. Now a was revving it high and compression braking a lot, so I assume this...

    Rear Stand Deal

Just FYI if anyone is in need of a rear stand. Cycle Gear has a sale on Trackside Rear stands for 39.99. I picked one up this morning to change the tire on my R and it worked great. I'm sure the quality is a little short of the pit bull ones, but it is 75% cheaper too.

    $$ to be made.

To any of the members that have the skill set to make little odds and ends for our bikes......may I suggest mirror block off plates for firebolts. Only ones I can find are either have R1 stamped on a large piece or are priced way high. Maybe they can't be made any cheaper, but if someone can...

Need help with Corbin Seat on a R

Willie the rear brackets aren't really adjustable. you can move them around a little but it doesn't slide like it would need to to work. Good luck, I hope yours fits better. This sux because this seat looks so great. And still no response from the company.......

Need help with Corbin Seat on a R

catching the 'frame hoop' isn't the prob. That part actually fits. It is the rear bolts that don't line up. As far as not bolting the seat....not so sure I want to do that. Seems like it might move a little, it least may cause some rubbing, worse cause a wreck I guess. Don't think I could...

Need help with Corbin Seat on a R

Ok, as it standing right now I am going to have to give Corbin as a company a DO NOT BUY rating. I paid them 260 bucks to make a seat. It arrived and the bolts don't line up. First girl says lube the rubber bumpers to make it fit. Then she says I need to take it to their Ormond Beach store...
