    Wow, I'm in Texas, that doesn't help any. I'm not too familiar with how everything is set up on our bikes since I haven't had to work on mine yet, but I'm all too familiar with 12-24v automotive systems... I'll try to look at it later today and see if I can find anything. If not, I'll get to it...

    I'm not real sure on that one. Seems odd to me. Where are you located?

    That's no good. Just look for the short. It should be easy considering its probably burned. I don't know where the starter is off the top of my head, but it may be the culprit. The clicking could be the solenoid engaging, but the starter may be hooked up wrong or have a short internally.

    Make sure the grounding cable is tight on both ends. I had a similar problem a few years ago that cause my bike to run like crap and flash the check engine light. I parked it and a few weeks later I tried to start it and it did the exact same thing, it clicked and then it completely killed all...
