quick, easy exhaust fun!
Well I gave this a shot on the 'what the hell, why not, aint got nuthin better to do at the moment' (yes I even went 'redneck' on the grammer lol). just picked up my new bike
I agree with dumping all the fluids but personally I would wait on synthetic if your going to go that route. At only 200 miles on the bike its not even broken in yet. Congrats on the new toy!- hdstn

That is pretty sweet looking. My only gripe...the avg a$$hat commuter doesn't see/hear us now, they'll never notice that!! Ain't like you can throw a d&d or hawk on it lol -

What year Lightning to buy?
easy answer....the bike you want! All years seem to have some quirks that have been reported but that's like any vehicle. As far as sitting, no its not the ideal, bikes it seems more so. But as I see it whats the difference if the bikes 5 years old with not a lot of miles vs a "new" 2 year old...- hdstn

What oil & oil filter do I use?
You sure on the K&N #? I just got one and checked their site to be sure they gave me the right one, its a 177. Like the idea of the super tech if it is that comparable a filter. The K&N was $14- hdstn

New motor that would be perfect in a XB
Buell powered by Motus...THE American Sportbike!! Oh wouldn't that be the ultimate FU and one-finger salute to hd! I can't be the only one to be thinking this is just the thing to bring Buell back with a vengeance. I would in no way part with my current xb lightning but if Erik could pull this...
