Victor, I had the same issue with the extreme amount of crap they used on the back end. It just takes a little "oomph" to get it out. The worse part for me was the cleanup on the inside afterwards.- Doc13

Doing my own right now. Waiting on a bracket to mount the Regulator the way I want (Picky I am). It wasn't too bad, although you need the tools if you're going to follow along per specs. Impact is my best friend. The Rotor wasn't bad at all, the Stator wires are kind of a pain but doable...- Doc13

EBR Rotor with 08 Stator
IT absolutely can't hurt. The regulator (CE-605-SB I believe) that most people are using is just a hulking piece of equipment that is a pain to mount as is. If it makes you happy, by all means you should do it. I wish you luck with the endeavor. Hopefully you get a well grounded bike out of...- Doc13

EBR Rotor with 08 Stator
Heat is the general killer but the part that got hit the hardest was the 09 stator because of it's higher output. Buell didn't compensate for that so they continually fry. If you're using the stock or a shunt style, it could be a problem, but shouldn't be as it shorts the stator to burn off...- Doc13

EBR Rotor with 08 Stator
Long story short? The stators are different. Another long story short The 08 stator requires the 08 rotor, so you'd end up paying 425 for a new rotor, not being able to get your core refund for no reason. The 08's have 0 issues aside from I believe an LCD issue. Hang on to it the way it is...- Doc13

On that first one, did he seriously dump 65K in a bike, including engine work, a turbo, and NOS, and then, on top of that, he took off one of the brake discs up front? Common sense much? -
