    buell xb track pics

I did my second trackday with the XB a few weeks ago and today received some pictures from the track. It would be cool to see other buell tracks pics as well, so if you have them, you can post them here!

XBR clip-on conversion for XBS alternative

By the way the brake line was fitted to the outside of the frontfork due to practical race reasons which had to do with clearance when the front.wheel would come off the ground or something. i think it looked like crap though so i changed this.back to how it was routed originally..

XBR clip-on conversion for XBS alternative

It does doesn't it. and you don't have to chop up any of the original parts. you have to swap your lines and ignition for the xbr parts and they are routed without obstructions or tight bends so everything functions and runs as smoothly as on an original xbr.

XBR clip-on conversion for XBS alternative

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is done! (well almost, because I still have to make a very small bracket to fix the headlights in the correct position, but the other 99% is finished) Since I don't have the equipment to bend sheetmetal, I asked the quy who services my bike each year if he knew someone...

XBR clip-on conversion for XBS alternative

here is a small update. i have bent some 1 mm sheets to check the distance i need to have full clearance from the cables and master cilinder. i want to use 2mm for the actual bracket and due to the way i've designed it it will be 4mm thick on the top and bottom assembly points were the bracket...

Luckily Holland is not that big, so even if I would live on the outskirts (which I don't ;)) it would still only be a 2 hours drive to Amsterdam. In any case thanks for proposing it. Due to the distance I didn't really check which parts are available in the US and if there is a big price...

XBR clip-on conversion for XBS alternative

It looks a bit flimsy from the side, be the sheet would be 12cm wide and it is basically a triangle, so it should be strong enough I think. We'll see ;)

XBR clip-on conversion for XBS alternative

The "XBR clip-on conversion for XBS" is what got me on the forum and at first I was pretty sure I was going to do it exactly the same way. Cutting the ignition key in half is not my style though and after seeing a photo from one of the members on the forum, thanks Yves, who kept the original...

Hi, I'm new here. I was thinking about changing the handlebar of my XB9S into clipons and I then stumbled onto the BuellXB forum were I found the article on the XBR clip on conversion for XBS. It is obvious that you American and Canadian guys (sorry if I forgot anyone) are serious with regards...
