Started on the swingarm sheetmetal work And since it's Christmas my dad and stretched a triumph frame 2" to fit a prototype matchless g50 motor.

Pretty much. Like I said earlier the belt side will be totally different. Instead of a removable brace, this part is a spacer and it will be removable. Like the 1125 arms I think.

Started on the other side of the swingarm.

I like the low front and high back look. Makes it look aggressive. The headlight isn't actually mounted yet but that's where it will go.

The seat pan is there glued to the foam, it's carbon fiber. The subframe rails will be curved to match the profile of the seat pan. There will be 1/8" sheetmetal welded in between the rails at the back for a little bit of storage. I'll have the seat covered. Not sure what type of material. I...

As for a fat rear tire, absolutely not. These bikes are made to corner and I'll never do anything to harm that. I've ridden almost all modern sport bikes and this one has my favorite handling charistericts. This bike will mainly see mountain roads and more track days. Maybe if I were building a...

I've used about every kind of thread insert there is. The timeserts require a lot bigger threaded hole than the helicoils do, that's why I chose the helicoils. I didn't have enough material for a timesert without going down on caliper bolt size which I didn't want to do. This will be fine as I...

Welded up the caliper mount holes, and finished capping the factory holes.

Started on the new belt tensioner pulley. It's 3.25" OD versus the stock 4.625" OD. This should give me room to push the mufflers rearward. And I tapped the caliper mounts for helicoils.

Made these little plugs to weld in and shave the caliper mount holes.
