    ECMSPY Blues

Biketavious, On the version of ecmspy some of us have..after you change tabs and click the reset button, its necessary to click the keys icon and connect again after you go back to the main tab. Victory (The Polaris variety)

I have the 2012 highball. I got it because moving on from an XB, another fuel injected V twin would be easier to work on. The bike is solid. With the stock exhaust and intake it was damn smooth in the low rpm's. I went with an aftermarket exhaust because I missed the growl and wanted to be heard...

I crashed, so here's my FB status.

You might be a Buell owner if...

If you started modding the crap out of everything else you own after you were done with it... just to feed the need. If you come across random objects and think it would make a cool catch can, heat shield material, pulley cover, or some other part... If there's a chance the jack points on your...

    Armored Vest.......Who has one?

Yeah Nik, I sewed them on the softer padded parts. Figured I'd rep the buell brand as well as serve remember those who died in 9/11. My bike got me in the habit of customizing everything now. lol Even though i'm selling my Buell and moving on to a victory cruiser, respect never goes out of...

Ok this is a little worrying...

Obviously the first 5 shots didn't hit the brain... these cops need more training. Maybe George Romero is available for some consultant work. If the zombie apocalypse is upon us...Don't forget to double tap, guys.....

Um, idle adjust screw on 09 xb 12r?

For 08 and above its a different method. To reset an 08+ Buell, do the following: 1. Turn on the key. 2. Set the kill switch to the run position. 3. Don’t start the engine. Rotate the throttle from fully closed (gently forced closed) to fully open (gently held open), and then back again to...

    TPS cable routing

No special way in particular. It's just run out at curved and cable tied in place at the end. Mine was binding and caught on one of the bolts on top of the rocker box on the front cylinder. If you did a breather reroute (depending how) or ran other wires under the airbox, it can get crowded. If...

    What Happend

No problem, Kick. Glad it helped out. We've all been there once or twice, I think... Resetting the TPS pre 08, has become like a rite of passage for Buell owners.

    What Happend

Ok.. When you back out the idle screw, keep an eye on the Voltage not the percentage. It should stop decreasing. Twist the throttle and let it snap shut periodically while backing the screw out to make sure you're getting a good reading. When it stop decreasing, give it the extra turns like in...

    Exhaust Rebuild Supplies

Before you open it up .. here is another thread that discusses the layout.. The pipe being a straight pipe with a perforated section in the middle (between the jack points) wrapped in packing, I believe. http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/Race-Muffler-under-the-knife
