    Blown Fuel Pump Fuse

    Yes I have the same problem with my 08scg. The same thing happened in the heat, though I replaced the fuse and it runs fine but now the engine check light is on! And of course the warranty went out last month. and I don't have the money to take it to the dealer.

    I have a 08scg and thinhk the manual said to use 50w in 70 degrees and up but I can't find any. And I didn't want to go to the HD dealership to get anything cause its usauly double the price. Also are there anyother oil filters that fit it besides HD's? Thanks.

    Let me explain alittle deeper, also when at idle I can pull the throtle back fast and it will almost die and back fire. I have to ease on the gas at first to go to high rpm's. and I am using 91 in it.

    Help! with 08scg, My engine lights on!?!

    Thanks, I took the bike to a BRC class and it made it afew hrs. and then shut off. The fuel pump fuse blow, so I thought it was bad gas too. I put Lucas & Heat additive and replaced the fuse and it seems to run better though the engine lights still on. So...do I replace the fuel pump?

    Help! with 08scg, My engine lights on!?!

    Since I'm a first time rider I wasn't sure what to expect from the bike, but it kinda spits and sputers in first & second or at low rpm's. Now after two days of driving the Engine Check Light is on and the oil is good and full(everything seems to be ok) so I don't know what to do? Any suggestions?
