    03 XB9S Surges at low speeds 1st-3rd gear. Really tough riding the bike in city/town traffic with low speeds. Runs great when on open roads above 45mph. I feel as though I have to use the clutch a lot because the bike wants to surge or lack of better words..run like shit. I can't just cruise...

    When I look at the locking mechanism, it looks like the seat latch is about 1/2" away from it. I will succeed one way or another....Thanks all.

    I bought one and returned it after the second ride......Way too much wind on my Lightning and my head was feeling like it was gonna be pulled off at high speed and/or acceleration.

    This will be my fourth smoker. I'll post a sound video when the new chambers get put on. The r5 is a piston ported motor versus the reed valve motors that the rd's were. My first r5 but have owned an rd350, rd400 and a kawasaki s2.
