    bike swap

Lightning suspension isn't the right spring rate or shock length. He would need Lightning Long forks and shocks.

    bike swap

If you can't find a swap, it wouldn't be difficult to sell off the bags and swap components to turn the Uly into an SS, or even a hydrid. They share the same rails (though SS rails are drilled for passenger loops), frame, engine, swingarm, etc, so you'd just need to change the seat, undertail...

    Mods that Increase torque/acceleration?

Between parts and gaskets you are looking at about $250 for the primary gearing swap.

Why not just put handguards on the bike the complete the look?

    Mods that Increase torque/acceleration?

Clutch baskets are the same. You only need to change the front primary sprocket and chain, and gasket and fluid. You will need to readjust your chain tensioner to factory specs after the swap. 08-10 XBs use a different primary sprocket due to the redesigned crank, so you need an 08-10 XB9 front...

Need Some Help! 2006 XB12SS Crazy Tachometer & Rough Running!

The issues you describe sound like a cam sensor or ECM. Pull the timjng cover and the cover behind it to view the cam sensor. If the epoxy is melted, it is obviously bad. If not, you will have to test it with a heat gun. Start the bike and let it idle while heating up the cam sensor with a heat...

    Let's see those Frankenstein!!!!

I switched to an EBR hubless front wheel, rotor, and caliper the other day. Had custom spacers made to adapt it to the smaller XB/1125 front axle, and made one small notch inside the fork leg to clear the wheel hub. I also have a hidden rear caliper kit with 2 piston Brembo, just waiting on...

    Compatible swingarm for Brembo upgrade?

I'm curious though if they meant to say 02-05 though, as 06 is different than 05.

    Compatible swingarm for Brembo upgrade?

Best bet is to email Free Spirits and ask them directly. [email protected]

    EBR front wheel on Stryper

I don't know how well an RSS would fit under a full fairing.

    EBR front wheel on Stryper

Yes, it's a Micron full system exhaust. I spent almost 2 years looking for one. RSS won't fit without significant cutting to clear the headpipw on the Micron. That's in the works too, as is a bunch of other stuff still.

    EBR front wheel on Stryper

Couldn't afford the rear wheel yet, and it will take quite a bit more work, since I want to have a custom rear pulley machined to keep the belt drive.

    EBR front wheel on Stryper

I put an EBR front wheel, rotor, and caliper on my bike yesterday. I had these custom spacers made up the other day to adapt the wheel from a 30mm axle to the XB 25mm axle, and had to notch the fork lower about .050" in one spot to clear the wheel hub, but otherwise was a bolt-on affair.

    Let's see those Frankenstein!!!!

Front Fender is by Flexi-Glass in Canada. They make one without the scoops as well. I originally bought the one without scoops and ran it, but wished I bought the one with scoops. Then found out EBR had one with scoops at their LAP garage sale, so I snagged it and the new 1125CR forks as well...

    Let's see those Frankenstein!!!!

It's from a KTM 640 Duke II. I also have some custom pulleys and an EBR front wheel, rotor, caliper, and MC on the way for it.

How to get a little more HP

The Jardine isn't bad up top, but it and some of the other slip ons leave a big dip in the torque curve on a 12, similar to wiring the exhaust valve wide open.
