    No more worries here. Now running a chain. A lot less labor to install the chain conversion than the belt. Gear ratio changes are also easy with the chain.

    My belt was pretty new and in great shape. I've done sone mods to the motor. Snapped the throttle back for a wheelie in second gear and the belt broke. I'm thinking the belts are never going to hold up on my bike with the added power and my style of riding.

    Topend Rebuild Questions

    The 1250 kit from NRHS is a great option and a good price. just installed the kit on nmy s1w along with the stage 1 head work. Pistons come with rings gapped and pistons installed in cylinders. Very easy install and runs great.

    Thanks NwRider,my exhaust sounds amazing and it tuned way better than I had imagined it would when I built it. Very aggressive sound and draws a lot of attention!

    My 98 s1w has thunderstorm heads and is rated over 100hp from what I have read on power rating it is also carbed.

    What pilot jet are you running? problems on idle=pilot circuit. Pilot jet and mixture screw. 200 main is too big also.
