    White wheel cleaning tricks???

Use the Simple Green straight, no reduction? I tried the tooth the brush, it just wouldn't go deep enough, maybe an old paint brush with longer bristles? Didn't think pressure washer, power tools are always a bonus! Thanks for the input...Metz

    White wheel cleaning tricks???

Newb Buell owner here hoping to gain knowledge from the forum. My XB9R has white wheels. I absolutely love how white wheels look when they are clean, but mine were not clean and after almost 2 hours of cleaning labor they are still not great. I can tell the wheels are in great shape they just...

    tranny question xb9r

Cool! Took the bike for a ride last night, first time I have tried 5th gear since verifying its existence in the garage with it off. Lo and behold, 5th gear is there, it is just high shift lever effort. Going to tear into the primary and check the shift shaft springs and rod for proper...

Chicknstripn-I follow you 100%, like to read manuals and gain perspective prior to wrenching, solid advice. Global Eyes-the manual link is very helpful! I wasn't...

    tranny question xb9r

This sounds like a good attack plan. I'll give it a go and see what happens. One question, the shift shaft you are referring to, is it the one travelling through the primary cover from the foot lever? Thanks...Metz

    tranny question xb9r

I have an 06 xb9r w/30K miles on it that won't shift into 5th gear. First through 4th are fine, but as a new Buell owner the trans is pretty stiff feeling? I understand the clunking, but it is hard to shift (shift lever effort is high), and the clutch drags enough that neutral can be difficult...
