    I would empty the fuel and start with fresh gas too. The white smoke tells me the engine is firing something in the cylinders. Maybe just really old bad fuel.

    Broken exhaust stud

    You should have done a little research before you attempted to repair it. Everyone seems to break easy outs when they use them. Buy the jig and a VERY hard bit and pray for the best. There are multiple variations of jigs but they all seem to work. If not just pull they head and fork out some money.

    Yes, many swap firebolt tripples to their lightning so they can run clip-ons. But i think you run into clearance issues going the opposite direction. Plus you would have to move your ignition switch.

    Woah, old plugs

    Those are 18mm plugs. A lot of metric v twins and v fours use plugs that are that size. I am pretty familiar with them because I came to Buell from VFR's. No worries, the threads are the same..

    Seeing as its the far outside I would say you can run it. I cant remember but does that potion of the tooth actually come in contact with anything? If not you should be good.

    While you are testing things you may want to make sure that your Oxygen sensor is working properly. That could help explain the obvious over fueling. If the sensor goes bad the ecm might not recognize it as a problem if it is just sending the wrong signal. It will attempt to correct what the...

    If money is an issue I'm sure you can get some good spray paint from a hardware store. Sand and scuff your stock finish then use multiple coats of paint. If you take your time im sure you can have an awesome look for under 20 bucks. [up] DIY! [cool]
