    not really, until it fails for good. Intermittent problems are almost impossible to diagnose unless its faulty at the time of testing.

    Ok that means either your ecm isnt sending a crank signal, or your ecm isnt recieving a crank signal. BTW do you have ecmspy, and have you checked for codes? You are basicly left with 3 things it could be. 1. a bad ecm 2. a bad cam sensor 3. a broken wire Next what you're gonna have to do...

    You dont have to take the lever off from what i remember. You just unscrew it from the bottom, and unplug it. It takes about 30 seconds to do it.

    yeah, exactly what i just told ya. you dont have to track down the harness, just unplug the coil harness and check there. turn the ignition on. check the grey wire for power (it should be batt voltage). If ok, Crank the engine while checking the Y/G wire. You should see ground in a pulse...

    Ok I take that back now that I got a chance to look at the diagram. The grey wire should be power all the time with ignition switched on. The other 2 wires should pulse a ground signal while cranking. Let me know what ya got goin on there.

    Can you tell me which wire goes to what? One should be power, one should be ground, and one should be the signal wire which will either come right from the crank sensor, or from the ecm I believe. If you can figure out which one is which then make sure you have power and ground at the coil pack...

    If you pulled them all to check them, then you dont need to use a test light. The test light is just to save you from having to pull them all. You can prolly get by on just your dvom. Do you have a repair manual? you will need a wiring diagram for the next part.

    yeah, you should see it and hear it tick, so you definatly have no spark. Did you check your fuses yet? check them with the ignition on if you are checking them with a test light.

    the SSSA is pretty sick! I was thinking about doing that, but decided i was done dumping money into this bike lol. He needs to relocate his kick stand to the other side now to show it off when parked since SSSA usually have the clean side of the rim facing out when parked.
