    Hiding fuse boxes/ECM???

Or you can get a Lightning harness, which moves all that stuff to under the seat. You would have to cram it all in the luggage box under the back seat. All it leaves up front is the ignition, gauges, and horn

    Same old question?

My AFV was at 104 with a UNI filter and a straight muffler. You will be fine.

putting an tubro on an xb9sx

The problem is that the belt drive system on our bikes pretty much locks you into the low top speed you already have. Adding a ton of power is just going to make you get to 145mph faster, which doesn't seem too much of a problem already. There are a few people who have already done it. The key...

    ideas for tools

Yeah, I have a tank bag and AAA. If you're out on a long ride and something falls off, not much in your tool set is going to help you get home. I put mine in my tank bag just in case, but don't expect too much.

need some help..and a few answers

It is gas evaporating from the heat the frame carries from the rear cylinder. You don't want to plug it up

    Back wheel skid

^ in that example, the car would NEVER come around, because there wouldn't be enough braking force to lock up the rear wheels. Instead, the only wheels you could lock up would be the front wheels constantly. The OP is just using too much rear brake. Go to a parking lot (a big one with no cars)...

    Clutch throw length--adjustment?

The wiggle amount. After the adjustment, you should only be able to fit a credit card between the lever and housing at rest.

    Buell down...

I would try and pick them out with a screwdriver. If not, yeah, I would remount the tire. It would suck to lose the bead while going around a turn

    quick question ?

It is a LOT of bolts. Maybe 10 of the standard bolts, 3 of the short ones, new hardware for the gauges, and new hardware for the ignition and side modules. The easiest thing to do is go to the dealer and photocopy the parts diagram, and the last page of the parts manual says what all the bolts...

    Buell down...

The good news is that assuming nothing else is bent (like forks) that it would cost about $500 for all that stuff if you bought it new. Get it on eBay, it you may get away for less than $300. signals are like $15 the side rail is $120 the cheesegrater is $120, but since youre gonna cut it, get...

    NC Buellers?

Uncivilized, I am in Raleigh, too. There are a few XBs I've seen around town, but I've never rode with another XB

    lightning long tail section

The long section on a short frame should fit on easily. It is wider than the mounting tabs, so you would need to make spacers. The top mounting bolt sits too low, so you would need to elongate the hole, that is it. There is a lot of parts you would need: the side rails, the seat, the tail light...

    is this normal

Did you take it to the dealer recently? The newer flash from the dealer turns the fan on when you're moving, and off when you're not. If you're not used to the sound, it sounds like something is run.

Created my own BUE2 race map, need a little help

    1. I would love to datalog, but for whatever reason, ECMSpy doesn't view my map correctly. It shows me nothing be a garbled mess for a map. I feel like this is something I am doing wrong, since I loaded the 06 race map and it looked great. However, when I loaded an 09 map I found online, it was...

    Injecter cleaner???

It is most likely the plugs. They foul easily, but when your bike is running on one cylinder, does it shoot a lot of fire (or any fire) out the exhaust? If it is running on one cylinder with a clogged injector, there should be no fire or gas smell. If it is running on one cylinder with a fouled...

rear brake resivoir on lighting picture please

They are different reservoirs. And, they are only $11 at the dealer. I was looking for a way to fab something up, but then just looked up how much they cost...

    Rim Tape Photo (s)

I did the reflective tape on the blue wheels. You can barely see it unless you shine a light on it. There is someone at my local dealer that did glow-in the dark tape and wired UV leds to shine on it. It really does look like tron.
